Boma is a qualified cross border Legal Practitioner, admitted to practice law in Nigeria, England & Wales. She is one of the co-founding Partners of Primera Africa Legal (PAL) currently leading PAL’s Dispute Resolution and Pro-Bono practice.
She is an accomplished Litigator, Arbitrator and Commercial Mediator having successfully represented clients before superior courts and various administrative panels for over thirty (30) years. Her areas of specialization are Dispute Resolution, International Tax Law, Maritime Law, Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital Market Transactions
Boma has advised on some of Nigeria’s leading commercial deals in a number of sectors including manufacturing, banking, hospitality, telecommunications, maritime, energy, project funding and development.
She was educated in Nigeria where she obtained an LL.B from Rivers State University of Science and Technology, and in England at the prestigious King’s College, University of London where she obtained an LL.M in Maritime Law.
She is currently a member of the Body of Benchers, the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, London and an Accredited Civil and Commercial Mediator (ADR Group, London).
She also serves on the advisory board of MN Capital Africa Advisers and was awarded the national honor of an Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) in September 2014.
