David Ofosu-Dorte is a legal, policy and transactions specialist with combined public and private sector consultancy experience spanning over twenty-five (25) years which cut across finance, infrastructure and advice to governments and PPPs. He has extensive experience in advising on major Africa projects and is trusted by clientele. David is viewed by clients as a lawyer who has a “depth of knowledge in infrastructure and PPP which makes him a standout.” He is also vastly experienced on a broad range of transactional matters (Chambers Global 2018)
David founded AB & David in 1998 and has grown it to become one of Africa’s largest law firms with ability to advise in 23 Africa jurisdictions in Africa. The firm earned distinction as the First African law firm to be awarded the England Law Society Lexcel accreditation which is a mark of the highest standard in law practice. His extensive work on advising businesses in Africa has led to several interviews including a CNN interview on doing business in Africa.
He holds a Master’s in Public Administration and is a Doctor of Business Administration candidate of the Nobel International Business School in Ghana. He is also a Governing Council Member of the Association of Ghana Industries and once served as a committee member of the National Competitiveness Council of Nigeria (NCCN) as a non-Nigerian member from 2013 to 2014.
