Justice Ducharme was appointed to the Superior Court of Ontario in May, 2004. He has since been appointed a Deputy Judge of the Supreme Court of the Northwest Territories (February 15, 2007); of the Supreme Court of Yukon (June 18, 2009); and the Nunavut Court of Justice (September 9, 2009). His areas of expertise include criminal law; the law of evidence; Canadian constitutional law and Aboriginal law.
