Kondwa Sakala-Chibiya | Zambia
LLB (Reading, England) Advocate (Zambia) Notary Public. Kondwa is a graduate from Reading University in England, an Advocate of the Courts of Zambia. She is currently the Vice Chair Person of the Zambia Human Rights Commission. She is also a Commissioner of the Small Claims Court of Zambia.
Kondwa held the position of President of the SADC Lawyers Association, having been the first Zambian to hold the position.
She also held the position of Honorary Secretary of the Law Association of Zambia and that of Council member. She was a member of the Legal Practitioners’ Committee and is a member of the Women’s Rights Committee.
Kondwa is a founding member of the Female Lawyers Association of Zambia. Kondwa has served on many Boards and Board Committees over the years. Currently, she serves as Chair of the MINET (Formerly AON Zambia) Employees Trust Fund as well as Board member of AON Zambia. She also serves as a Board Member of the Centre for Infectious Disease Research in Zambia (CIDRZ). She is also a member of the Institute of Directors and a member of Boardroom Africa.
